Alan G. Cutler, Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Cutler earned his MBA from UCLA.   He founded FFA in 1998, after serving 12 years at Merrill Lynch.   He is licensed as a Registered Investment Advisor, a Real Estate Broker, an Insurance Agent, CPA, and registered IRS agent.   Mr. Cutler's investment style is best characterized as conservative & opportunistic.     He successfully navigated clients through the turbulent waters of the 2002-2003 bear market and the 2008-2009 Great Recession.    Mr. Cutler builds strong relationships with clients.   Most of FFA's clients have been with him for more than a decade. In addition to conservatively managed client accounts, Mr. Cutler also manages the FFA Prism Fund, an aggressively managed hedge fund that employs sophisticated options strategies.    During the calendar year of 2013, the Prism Fund posted a 39.50%* total return, beating even the Nasdaq Composite Index for the year.

Dwight A. Anderson, Technical Analyst

Mr. Anderson supports both the Prism Fund and client accounts with sophisticated technical analysis based on more than 14 years experience in the financial services industry.   During the course of his career in Financial Services, Mr. Anderson has worked in a range of positions, giving him a thorough and comprehensive understanding of the financial services industry.     His positions have included equity and options trader, investment analyst, researcher, instructor, coach, and product developer at the following firms: Investools (TD Ameritrade), Optionetics (Schwab), and PEI (Rich Dad Education and Morningstar).   He was also the founder of TradeVector, an independent investor education company.   

Jonathan L. Gal, Fundamental Analyst

Mr. Gal is a Harvard graduate with an MBA cum Laude from the FW Olin School of Business at Babson College.    He has worked as an Independent Research Analyst selling research reports to institutions.  To support the Prism Fund and conservative client accounts, Mr. Gal analyzes the fundamentals of corporations and governments around the world.    He studies the product cycles, new technologies, & financial performance of corporations as well as the fiscal, monetary, and regulatory policies of governments.      Amongst other strategies, he looks for undervalued investment opportunities with an eye towards their long term potential for capital appreciation.
